Neurological drugs

By ordering a prescription, you confirm that you do not suffer from any of the following disorders, conditions or symptoms listed below, and that you do not use any of the medicines listed below that may be contraindicated when using this medicine or require special medical attention:

  • you have not recently had a heart or brain infarction (stroke);
  • you have never had a stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA, a mild stroke that lasts less than 24 hours);
  • you haven’t had heart disease or symptoms that may indicate heart problems, such as temporary chest pain or tightness feeling in the chest;
  • you have no blood circulation problems in your legs that cause pain similar to cramps when walking (also called peripheral vascular disease);
  • you do not have severe hypertension;
  • you are not at high risk for developing cardiovascular disease (such as diabetes, smoking, or nicotine replacement therapy), especially if you are a postmenopausal woman or a man over 40;
  • your liver or kidney function is not impaired;
  • you do not have epilepsy or any other diseases that lower your seizure threshold;
  • you do not take other medicines with similar effects;
  • you are not taking or have not recently used medicines for depression;
  • you do not take herbal preparations containing St. John's wort (Hypericum perforatum);
  • you do not have angle-closure glaucoma (eye disease);
  • you have no adrenal gland tumors.
